12 Years ago, Island Outfitters started charter boat fishing out of Victoria. Today they offer fishing adventures out of Victoria, Sooke and Port Renfrew. With a fleet of 5 fully equipped charter boats ranging from 25ft to a 30ft Grady White and 8(Ward, Darren , Ian, Dan ,Elliott, Matt, Rob and Jared) fully licensed and certified guides ,they can offer outstanding fishing year round for Salmon and Halibut. If you need accommodation, they have a beautiful 1500 sq ft house in Port Renfrew that accommodates 8 guests, each with their own bed.

If fresh water fishing is what you are after, check out Ward and Darren’s Cowichan River cabin on 5 acres of prime fly fishing riverfront. Depending on what time of year, you can take a guded trip With Matt , Mark, Nick or Ward all licenced guides and fish for rainbows, browns, steelhead and salmon drifting down the river in a 17 ft Hyde drift boat.

Your Catch

At Island Outfitters we understand the importance of your catch! That is why we take deliberate care to handle your fish properly, ensuring it’s freshness for dinner table. Your entire catch will be carefully cleaned, dressed, and bagged by your guide promptly upon arrival back at the dock.
